I’m known for procrastinating when it comes to buying my kids Easter outfits. I have no clue why, considering the amount of time I spend scavenging the internet on new fashion trends and finding the best deals and promotions. For some reason, when it come to getting my kids ready for the holidays, it’s normally a last-minute “throw something together so grandma won’t yell at me” ordeal. Well, this year I’m planning ahead. I’ve been searching around and narrowed down my selections.
When it comes to my personal style, I’m more the “less is more” gal. I don’t like all the frou-frou – it may have something to do with years of wearing lots of pink frilly dresses with all the trimmings, hats and gloves included – so when it comes to dressing my children, I try to stay away from all that. Thankfully I have a little boy who really couldn’t care less about what I put him in and untill he does, I have full control of his style. My daughter, on the other hand is all about the frou-frou. I don’t know if it just skips a generation or if grandma has a little too much influence on it – or maybe it’s a little of both – but my daughter gravitates towards the most extravagant dress in the store. I can try hiding it, staying away from it, but not matter what I do my daughter will find it. This year, it’s all about compromise. Here are some of my choices:

I love how the colors flow together in each combination but they don’t feel too matchy. I’m going to have a hard time chosing but I’m sure my daughter will be more than happy to help me decide. I swear she’s more of a fashionista than her mama! I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
